Oppo R15 and Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition (DME) appeared on TENAA last week, revealing all the specifications. However, as we already know, TENAA does not show the exact processor that powers the device.
A new leak appeared on the Internet, which reveals full specifications, including a processor, powering phones and some other important differences. The leak was published on Weibo and represents a picture of what appears to be an official presentation.
As stated above, Oppo launches 2 versions of Oppo R15 – one will be called R15, and the other will be called R15 Dream Mirror Edition (it looks like this year it discards the option Plus).
Both devices will have the same 6.28 “2280 x 1080 AMOLED display, 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of memory and a 20-megapixel camera. They will also have the same thickness, they have the same weight, and both are run on the ColorOS 5.0 shell based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
To distinguish them, the OPPO R15 will be powered by a Helio P60 processor from MediaTek with a clock speed of 2.0 GHz with a dual-core AI processor. The Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition will have a Snapdragon 660 processor with a clock speed of 2.2 GHz and a single-core AI chip.
They will also have different rear cameras. The Oppo R15 will have a 16MP f / 1.7 wide-angle main camera and a 5MP f / 2.2 secondary sensor for capturing depth details. The Dream Mirror Edition will have a 16MP sensor f / 1.7 and a second 20MP f / 1.7 sensor.
There is a slight difference in the battery capacity – 3450 mAh for OPPO R15 and 3400 mAh for DME, but at the same time both batteries support VOOC fast charging technology. The back of the device body is covered with 2.5V Glass and 3B Glass, respectively. Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition will be available in black and red colors, while the usual Oppo R15 in white, red and purple.
